An oenophilic ode to CNY

We grew up near the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY where some really great wines are made (yes there is an entire state of worthwhile places past the Catskills and the Hudson Valley). A favorite winery is Swedish Hill, first discovered during a family dinner at Rosalie’s Cucina in Skaneateles (go there!) that involved a lot of bubbly. Swedish Hill makes delicious rieslings, a tasty white table wine called Cayuga White and a solid bottle of bubbly, called Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine. Prices don’t break the bank either.  All around good stuff.
