Oh Malbecs of my heart

As far as red wine goes I am obsessed generally with any that come from less traditional locations. My absolute favs being from the Middle East however Malbec, my South American bff, will always be my weakness. Light enough to be casually enjoyed, spicy enough to be interesting by itself, and complimentary enough to not over power various dishes. Heavy enough to be paired with various savory dishes and meats and to serve its primary function, to aid in digestion. I have found its fantastic with a variety of deliciously stinky cheeses. Here are a couple of my South American darlings…
