The St. Lawrence at Lodge

I went to Lodge in Williamsburg (yes, sometimes I venture out of Manhattan) last week to say goodbye to a very good friend who made the big cross-country move. The restaurant has all the windows open to the street, so even if you’re sitting inside, it still feels like summertime sidewalk dining.

In a nod to my upcoming Labor Day weekend festivities in the 1000 Islands, I went for The St. Lawrence cocktail. Served in a Ball jar, it had gin, lavender soda (I have not yet expounded on my LOVE for any and all things lavender, more to come on that front), lemon juice and honey. Scrumptious.
