Attached at the Hip | Walk steady

Walk, don’t run. We both took that kindergarten directive to heart and as adults consider strolling one of the best pastimes. Exercise was never our strong suit anyway… we like to blame it on a contemplative nature. Plus, when the walk is together (with our darling men in tow) on a flawless sunny Easter weekend, delicious lattes in hand, with a view of gorgeous historic homes on the water, it occurs to me that life really can’t get too much more ideal, even if I were living in one of those amazing houses. I felt whole and happy – that’s the power of sun and beach, right? It’s just really good that one of us lives somewhere beautifully peaceful otherwise my little zen moment of appreciation might have passed me by this Easter! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

Idyllic views of a small regatta off of Pear Tree Point Beach, Darien, CT. Beach is only open to town residents and permit holders between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
