May not be a dancer but I love ballet… flats…

{ Blog Swapping Series, Part 1: }

We’re getting fancy. We’re getting contributors… My bestie over at Girly Obsessions writes a blog about all the things that she loves that are girly (duh), pink, teal, sparkly, fashionable and baked to perfection. We’ve decided on a routine basis to swap stories. She will be bringing you her hostessing skills and we’ll be discussing our obsessions. Check out my post, where I tell you all about my obsession with ballet flats and my introduction to Tieks…

Happy, Sparkly Partying

December is really is one of my favorite months of the year. I’m a sappy kind of person, so all the decorations, family coming together, cuddle sessions by the fire with the amazing smelling tree (except this year it’s 60 degrees out in December so no fire), all the Hollywood Christmas RomComs… I just think it’s romantic because you’re not expecting anything from it (unlike NYE and Valentine’s) and there plenty of opportunities to dress up (sucker for that, always). It’s right up my alley for oh so reasons, so for this year’s season of parties upon parties, I’m feeling very polished and gift-wrapped (bows, rich trimmings) with a hint of sparkle. Maybe it’s Duchess Kate’s influence on me this year. Here’s to much happy partying and shopping (and hosting) this season!
